  BMW M3 E30 - Denis Cronin/Helen O'Sullivan - Cork 20 International Rally 2003 This BMW M3 and its plate GXI 9427 featured in a lot of Irish rallies, driven by Billy Coleman, Bertie Fisher, Bill Connolly, Andrew Nesbitt, Eugene Meegan and lastly by Denis Cronin, and international rally stars Patrick Snijers and Bernard Beguin won the European championship and the Tour de Corse in this car. Cronin drove the car in the 2003 Cork 20 rally, finishing 7th and first 2WD car, entertaining the spectators with his sideways driving. The model we have is LHD as opposed to the RHD conversion the real car had, the fuel cap is on the side rather than at the rear and the front plate holder is slightly lower on the RBR model, but it is what it is. Fiat 131 Abarth - Andrea Zanussi/Arnaldo Bernacchini - 1982 Rally dell'Isola d'Elba Finally back to uploading something, this is the Totip 131 that Zanussi and Bernacchini (well, only Zanussi i guess, kinda hard to crash a car if you're codriving) crashed on SS27, Rally dell'Isola d'Elba 1982, the third round of that year's Italian championship. Not the most successful of cars, but it looks good, and if you crash you can say you're just being historically accurate. This is the first day livery, with the Canonica stickers on the front fenders instead of the rears and without whatever logo is on the rear window later on. It's also missing the Stiassi logos on the side windows because the model doesn't allow for them, which is why it looks a bit different from the photos and scale models. The UV mapping is beyond distorting too, so I bothered with 95% of the lines looking good, maybe something slipped out of quality control, sorry about that (only if yo...

    Fiat 131 Abarth - Bjorn Waldegard/Hans Thorszelius - 1980 Rallye Montecarlo    Finally this livery is on the real 131 and not on the Lada... Surprisingly Waldegard came back to the FIAT group for the first two rallies of the 1980 WRC season and, after some steering and braking issues in the first stages and a tyre choice mistake later, he managed a fine 3rd place in Monaco.   Ford Escort MKII - Roger Clark/Neil Wilson - 1979 Lombard RAC Rally This car was driven by Roger Clark in the 1979 Lombard RAC Rally, the last time Clark drove a works Ford Escort. He was enjoying a steady top 10 drive before retiring on SS46 with engine failure, a disappointing end to a works career that brought 4 British titles and 2 RAC wins.  The model we have in RBR is LHD while Roger drove a RHD car, so his name is on the codriver's side of the car, and the front plate is missing as it's not there on the model. This livery was made possible by Janne Laahanen ( his blog is linked here ) as he gave me the RAC sticker files and general advice and Luis Carreiro ( again, blog linked ) for his rear fender guards, thanks lads!   Fiat 131 Abarth - Walter Röhrl/Christian Geistdorfer - 1979 Hunsrück Rallye No more Ladas, this is the real rallying box, this time with the winning livery from the 1979 Hunsrück Rallye. Driven by R ö hrl with Geistdorfer on the notes, this car dominated the tricky German event and won by over 11 minutes. In some pictures taken during this rally you can see a third Mobil sticker added during the event to the front bumper, which I haven't put on the car since it wasn't there at the start. A few notes about the skin: it's not possible to make a perfect copy of the real car since the model isn't 100% accurate to the real thing and it has some mapping issues, meaning that the side windows can't have the right stickers, and a few details aren't quite looking like the real thing, but i'm happy with the result nonetheless.
